Suddenly, the double doors burst open and in ran Sara’s daughter directly into the awaiting arms of her mother. Her tears flowed endlessly and so did her mother’s. The twenty-three year old shapely brunette cried out, “I’m so sorry Mom for not being here to support you. You needed me and I feel so guilty about leaving.”
“I understood your feelings and honestly they are perfectly normal. You have nothing to feel guilty about, unless you want to grow into an old—guilty Jewish woman,” Sara said jokingly, in an attempt to calm her lovely daughter’s heart, as well as her own in the process.
“I just can’t believe how thin daddy looks. It makes me so sad,” she whimpered.

About forty-five minutes had transpired and Dr. Price along with the X-ray tech. prepared the CAT scan to power up. They again folded the stiff arms and claw-like hands of the six-foot, one hundred and twenty-five pound prominent astrophysicist, into an overlapping position.

That’s when it happened!

Jack Redman’s eyes began to flutter and then slowly opened. His hazel eyes looked clearer than ever, Sara thought as she and her daughter quickly came to his side. And then the strangest thing happened . . ..
